Where We Work

Burkina Faso ranks at 134th out of 137 countries on the poverty scale and the child mortality rate is among the highest in the world. The literacy rate is approximately 30% and few children attend school past 6th grade. In the village of Konkourona, there are approximately 4000 residents. Villagers have limited access to  education, healthcare, water, sanitation.

KAFO was created to empower the people of Konkourona to dramatically improve conditions in all areas.
